Will Fuel Efficiency Win Over Luxury Cars
Fuel efficient luxury cars could very well be the thing of the future. No more do consumers have to choose between the Luxury class and fuel efficiency as many Luxury cars now have the ability to maintain up to 30 miles per gallon on the highway. Allowing the driver to drive with confidence that they are doing what they can to help the environment, all while not giving up the Luxury class that they have earned.
Auto makers like Audi and Infinity have showcased luxury vehicles such as the Infinity M35h which sports a high power V6 motor, all the luxury, class and power you need, while maintaining about 27 miles per gallon in the city and up to 32 on the highway.I was looking for more information and found it here. Then there is also the Audi 6; Audi has always been a trend setter for the Luxury class of vehicles. The Audi 6, just like its predecessors, has all of the goodies, as well as a very surprisingly powerful 2.0L 4 cylinder engine; making 33 miles per gallon on the highway possible with this Luxury car.
Some automakers are still stuck on the mundane, the way auto making used to be. It used to be about power and prestige, as well as more the name than anything else; which may be why makers like Bentley, BMW and Rolls all still offer Luxury cars that will be lucky to ever see 20 miles per gallon. For instance, the newest Bentley, the Continental Flying Spur, with E85, will still only get an embarrassing 8 miles per gallon in the city and 13 on the highway; worse than most full sized trucks. While the Rolls is a little better, it will still only get about 11 city and 18 highway; the BMW is next and it could reach 20 miles per gallon on the highway on its best day.
No longer do you have to give up fuel economy for Luxury or give up Luxury for fuel economy. If you want the best of both worlds, you can have it; you just need to look for it.
